Bike, Bags, and Racks
My main bike is the Priority 600ADX (update to the 600x), a hardtail mountain bike built for adventure. I designed this low maintenance dream machine with my friends at Priority Bicycles. The low maintenance drivetrain is what makes it special, the Pinion C12 gearbox and the Gates CDX Carbon Drive (not a chain). Here’s a complete video rundown of my bike
I ride the Priority Gemini gravel bike when I’m on smoother terrain, it’s a sweet drop bar speedster with electronic Pinion SmartShift. Here’s a video rundown of all the specs
Rear Rack: I’m currently using a simple commuter rack, the Axiom Streamliner (holds 110 pounds). I attach Sea To Summit dry bags to hold my gear and sometimes traditional Ortlieb panniers. I also use Aeroe Rack from time to time.
Pedals: I either use the clipless Shimano PDM 424 SPD (for non technical terrain) and flat pedals for technical adventures (The Crank Bros Stamp 7) I also love the Arclight Pedals by Redshift
SADDLE: The Infinity E1X It’s the most butt friendly seat I’ve ever used
I sometimes use a dropper post for rowdy singletrack adventures like the Colorado Trail. Mine is made by OneUp
For the Tour Divide race I used Redshift AeroBars
My up-cycled eco friendly orange Frame Bag is made by my friends in Boulder at Green Guru and specifically made to fit the Priority ADX (but fits many bikes)
My little orange bag below the seat (the Duzer) and the top tube bag near the stem (The Tanker) are also made by Green Guru
My handlebar snack bag is made by Blue Dingo Bag Werks
I sometimes use the Slap Bag accessary pouch (attaches easily to handlebars with velcro straps)
I sometimes use the Ortlieb Accessory Pack on my handlebars
When I mount my tent to the handlebars, I use the Salsa Anything Cradle
Bottle Cages: For big bottles, I use the Widefoot Cargo cage (Colorado company), it holds my 64oz Kleen Canteen stainless steel bottles
For Nalgene bottles I use the Widefoot Liter bottle
Bottles: I use mix of 24oz insulated water bottles by Polar Bottle and Stainless Steel BIVO bottles
My hydration pack is called ‘The Duzer’ I helped design it with Mountainsmith (Colorado Brand)
I sometimes use the Sawyer Mini water filter attached to the hose on my water bladder
Bike computer is the Coros Dura
I use the Garmin Inreach Messenger for remote adventures when I don’t have cell coverage

Clothing (I wear as much merino wool as possible. I’m a fan of natural materials)
My riding shirt is the Tern Ultralight Merino Wool Tee from Outdoor Vitals.
I always carry 2 pairs of my Merino wool OLÉ or GET OUT THERE socks! (100% of proceeds goes to Bikepacking Roots) They’re Made by Point 6, an awesome Colorado company in Steamboat
1 pair of Point 6 merino boxer briefs (to wear after riding)
My riding shorts are the ElevenPine ‘Uprising’ and padded ‘Liberator’ liners. ElevenPine is a Boulder born company
1 pair of long jogging style pants for lounging in camp, mine are made by Adidas and they’re old ;)
Sunglasses: I love my new BEST DAY EVER glasses by Motive. I sometimes wear the Smith Lowdown 2

Sony Rx100 Vii (this is a point and shoot that I use for interviews and for close ups of pretty flowers) I attach this small shotgun mic for better audio
I’ve used GoPros for years but am currently using the DJI Action5Pro I can’t tell huge difference between the two
DJI Mavic Mini 3 Pro drone
I use the Jaws GoPro clamp mount to keep my action cam mounted to my handlebars (for quick access)
More and more I’ve been using my iPhone 16pro. Video quality is solid but the sound isn’t great

Anker 340 Charger (plugs into the wall and has 4 USB outlets)

Tiny 4 inch bendy tripod that I bought at a gas station long ago, looks like this one
I carry 3 batteries for the drone and 5 spare batteries for the Sony and GoPro

My home computer is the Mac Studio and I use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing (I don’t edit on the road)

Lezyne Micro Floor Drive pump (wrapped in duct tape)
1 small bottle of Stans Sealant
2 CO2 cartridges
Patch Kit
Bacon Strips for plugging holes (and the little tool that smashes them into punctures)
Tubolito spare tube (29x2.2)
1 Extra Gates CDX belt on the off chance that I break a belt (I’ve snapped 1 belt in my life)
Leatherman Wave multitool that my grandpa gave me 20 years ago
1 butter knife for spreading peanut butter and beans (much better than the Leatherman blade)
Steripen Ultra Light water purifier (I also bring iodine tablets as backup)
Food
BEANS!!! If you know me, you know I always travel with beans and tortillas (carbs and protein)
